Editorial Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026
These are the standards we hold ourselves to, and what you can hold us to.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by editors alone. We do not accept payment, gifts or hospitality in exchange for coverage, and no advertiser sees an article before publication.
Sourcing
- Figures are checked against a primary source: a regulator, an exchange, a company's own disclosure documents or official statistics.
- Where a figure is an estimate or a projection, we say so.
- We link or name the source so a reader can check it themselves.
Fact-checking
Every article is read by a second editor before publication. Anything involving numbers, fees or legal obligations gets a line-by-line check against the source document.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools for research assistance, transcription and drafting support. Nothing is published without a human writer and a human editor reviewing it, and no factual claim reaches publication on the strength of an AI output alone.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and visibly. Significant corrections are noted at the foot of the article with the date. We do not quietly delete published mistakes. Email corrections@aussietalksfinance.com.
Complaints
Send complaints to editor@aussietalksfinance.com. We acknowledge within 5 business days and aim to resolve within 20.
No advice
We publish general information only. See our Financial Disclaimer.
